The lens nameplate and the letters of the FEET notation on the distance indicator are blackened due to color fading. The optics are generally clear with no transparency issues when checked under natural light; however, when checked with an LED light, numerous very fine line scratches can be seen on the inside of the front lens. These scratches are not expected to affect the photographic results. The front lens is genuine, but the inner diameter of the back side has been cut off, possibly due to its slightly larger diameter. There is no problem in use. A compatible 52mm lens cap is also included. Please refer to the images for details on the appearance condition.
