This lot is strictly for the SERIOUS VICTORIAN COLLECTOR – most grand party host item – WE’RE TOLD IT IS FROM THE EARLY 1900’s – RARE PAIRPOINT SILVER COVERED DOUBLE ENTREE DISH FANCY OLD STYLE – COVERED DOUBLE ENTREE DISH, THE LID CAN ALSO BE AN OPEN SERVING DISH – great estate item that appears to be carefully used condition – Serve in style – about 12 1/2″ BY 9 1/2″ MOST RARE — 90+ YEARS AND IT IS INTACT ready for more use – a True Classic – Beautifully well designed and practical for using, sculptural, elegant with practicality! True Victorian Age pattern – see pictures. Beautifully crafted with good heft these silverplated pieces clearly were made to last! Ready to be passed along for generations to use or display. My mother didn’t use this, but had it on display in her collection display case. Pictures don’t reveal how grand this really is. In this listing, we offer another portion of my mother’s large collection of Older Silver Serving Holloware for a serious collector/host. All items being sold by us have been used, but these very high-end, older, Gorham silverplated items were made to last for generations.
