eBay DESCRIPTION __________________________________________________________________ An earthenware saki pot, of round squat form. By the Kizan studios, Kyoto, Meiji Era (C.1868 – 1912), late 19th century. The body exquisitely decorated with a central band declining a figural procession, bordered with bands of millefleurs patterning. The decoration finely applied using coloured enamels, detailed in gold. Signed Kizan to the base (mark is rubbed). The spout and handle loops have been restored. Minor staining to the base. No further issues. 15cm in diameter.
