Vintage PC Tower Case This Particular Thing This thing is a vintage computer case from the era of Pentium 4 supremacy. The doors and top are silvery brushed metal, not magnetic, probably aluminum. The front is plastic with a silvery finish meant to mimic the aluminum parts. The rest is standard PC case steel of the era. Overall it looks like a budget version of an early Lian Li case. It seems like it was never built in, although there are some scuff and scrape marks as shown. It was unboxed and sitting on a shelf in a small computer shop for about twenty years, watching the world pass. There are four external 5.25″ bays and two external 3.5″ bays. Inside, there’s room for three more 3.5″ drives and then maybe two more if you rig something up. The tower has space for a motherboard with seven expansion slots. No power supply or extra hardware. Case measures about 19.25″ or 484mm deep, 7.75″ or 197mm wide, 16.4″ or 417mm tall. But More Generally Independent operator working out of a house in downtown Toronto. I try to keep it weird.
