Artisan Miniature IGMA Dollhouse OOAK Sculpture; “Starry Night” by C.J. DobieThis is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind (no molds) polymer clay sculpture of a woman: entitled “Starry Night”, which will be reflected on a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed by the Artist; C.J. Dobie – member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA). This sculpture is of Chrissy Claus (Santa’s better half?), holding a music box depicting a starry winter’s night.Chrissy has blue eyes and soft gray hair, pulled away from her face, but there are a few random curls surrounding her crown. It looks as though the elves have been busy and have perhaps gifted Mrs. Clause with a midnight blue music box (prop only) with adult and baby Polar Bears on top. Chrissy is wearing lacey petti-pants and a long muslin slip underneath her green/red plaid dress, with matching trim around the skirt bottom and sleeve cuffs. Her red jacket is trimmed with “faux” white fur and is cinched at the waist with a black leather belt. She has donned a green/red plaid cap, which can be (carefully) be removed. Chrissy can easily stand on her own without a base, so please adjust her slightly if needed after shipping. Her clothing has been slightly stiffened. I normally try to leave certain elements loose so that you can remove them, in this case, the music box (prop only, does not play music) is resting in her hands and could be replaced with an item of your choice. Chrissy was colored with pastels and carefully painted to add a more realistic look to her complexion. No separate value has been assessed for the music box; however, it is included. I’m sure wherever she lives next, you’ll enjoy getting to know her as much as I have.
