Poster measures 24 inches by 18″. It was keep framed under acrylic for the majority of its life. Overall condition is great considering the age. Small inclusions along edges here and there but nothing major. The text on the bottom left translates as follows: “F-16 Fighting Falcon – the most powerful and flexible deterrent, supported by a proven global logistics system. A commitment for the future based on the close relationship between FACH and USAF, for 70 years.” This poster is part of a collection of five posters that I am selling. These posters were given to me by a friend who was a news reporter and was doing a story at the Lockheed Martin factory in Fort Worth. He was reporting on the how production was being halted of the F-16 at the Fort Worth facility. This took place, from his recollection, in late summer of 2017. The collection of posters were all framed in cheap plastic, poster frames when they were given to me. I was told they were the same frames they were in at the Lockheed Martin facility and were literally taken directly off the walls and given to him along with some other F-16 memorabilia. These posters remained in the plastic frames until I received them. The frames did protect them but they were literally falling apart. He was told these posters were produced to try to entice military leaders from other countries in their own languages or in referencing their own countries. The collection that I have has three posters targeting the Chilean Air Force (FACH), 1 for the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) and 1 for the Polish Air Force. I could not find any other examples of any pieces in the collection anywhere. I am sure Lockheed Martin produced several of these but from my research, I found none. The exact years of production on these is unknown as well. They could have been hanging in the factory for a decade before they were removed. My best estimate would lead me to believe production was somewhere between 2005 to 2010 but I can not verify that. We generally use our own discretion in adding shipping insurance to those items we feel may have the potential to be damaged during shipping. We will usually insure breakables over $150. This insurance is usually added into the cost of our shipping charge. Priority shipping will guarantee items up to $100 for any items. I can not be responsible for items that may be stolen out of mail boxes or off of porches. If tracking shows the item delivered, I have completed my sale. Insurance will not usually cover theft since the item was delivered. Priority shipping with signature confirmation is the only way to prevent theft. That would be at the buyers cost.
