This camera underwent a complete restoration, including: Full disassembly, cleaning, and lubrication of all mechanisms.Replacement of the shutter and some other components with new parts from the Zorki-4 camera.Adjustment and calibration of all mechanisms: rangefinder, shutter curtain speed.Replacement of the old vulcanite on the camera body with new genuine leather.Light seals installed to prevent film light leaks. All mechanisms work correctly. Shutter speeds have been electronically tested, with the main range accurate within 5-10% of nominal. Speeds of 1/500-1/1000 are slightly slower by about half a stop due to aging springs, typical for cameras of this age. Slow speeds function correctly. The camera has a visually appealing appearance. The new body covering gives a sense of a high-quality camera rather than Soviet-era equipment. Lens: Jupiter-8 P, Serial number 5529137.The lens has also been cleaned and underwent the following: Cleaning and lubrication of mechanisms.Partial restoration of the body surface. The lens is fully functional. Focusing is smooth, and there’s no oil on the aperture. The glass is clean, free from fungus or damage. Upon close inspection, minimal wiping marks are visible on the front lens. The case has a nice vintage look, not torn. It has been re-stitched with synthetic threads and treated with leather care products. Snap fasteners have been replaced with buttons, allowing it to be converted into a half-case if needed, which is convenient for daily use. The camera has been tested with film. Photos were taken with this camera and lens. The camera achieves focus well with the aperture open. The Jupiter-8 lens produces a characteristic soft image at wide apertures. From f/4 onwards, the image is quite sharp and contrasty. Inter-frame intervals are correct, and there are no light leaks or scratches on the film. The package includes the camera, lens, and case.
